Valentines Day

Monday 14th February
Serving food 12-3pm & 6pm-9pm
Treat your loved one this Valentine’s Day. We are running our full a’la carte menu at lunch, then for dinner, we have a carefully created 6 course menu, as well as a glass of Kir Royale & a red rose on arrival.
Both menus are designed using the finest, local produce.


Shrove Tuesday

Tuesday 1st March
Serving food 12pm – 3pm and 6pm – 9pm
Join us for Shrove Tuesday where we will be serving cooked to order pancakes with delicious, classic fillings.

Pie Week

Monday 7th – Saturday 12th March
Come and celebrate National Pie Week with us. The infamous pie will be incorporated into our weekday and weekend Chef’s specials menus. These freshly cooked pies will be available throughout lunch and dinner. There will be pie related table games available to play, such as pie grams, word search and snakes and ladders.

Mothers Day

Sunday 27th March

The Oak Barn is a fantastic venue to spoil Mum this Mothering Sunday. Serving our special 3 Course Menu from 12pm – 7pm

15th-18th April
Start your Easter on Good Friday with a selection of specials which will be running alongside our main menu. Our specials are created using local & seasonal produce. Then relax and enjoy your Easter Sunday with our exclusive 2 or 3 course Sunday menu and chef specials . Also over the weekend, we have various table games and a raffle designed to raise money for The Roundtable Children’s Wish.

St. George’s Day

Saturday 23rd April

Join us and celebrate St George’s Day with the Chef’s daily Specials Menu.

Great British Beef Week!

Monday 25th April – Saturday 30th April

We will be incorporating British Beef into our Chef’s daily menu and Weekend Specials.

We will have different Beef Specials running alongside our full a’la carte menu, The Oak Barn supports British Beef week to help raise awareness of the quality and versatility of Great British Beef.

National Doughnut Week

Friday 6th-Sunday 15th May
Come and try our freshly cooked to order, homemade, doughnuts. Who doesn’t love Doughnuts and giving to charity? For every sale of the classic treat, we will be donating a percentage to The Children’s Trust who help children with brain injury.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June
Come and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee where we will be running a quintessentially English themed specials menu alongside our Full A’la Carte Menu. The Barn will be decorated and you are welcome to wear anything Union Jack related

Fathers Day

Sunday 19th June
Serving food 12-7pm
The quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Why not treat him to a traditional 2 or 3 course roast to show him how much you care. We will be serving our full Sunday Roast Menu all day, book now to avoid disappointment.

National Burger Week

Who doesn’t love a proper Burger? Following the success of the last few years we’re doing it again! The chefs will be running a variety of different burgers alongside our main menu throughout the week. All of our Burger’s are carefully designed and all made using the best, local produce. Throughout the week, we are also running table top games which can be played for a small donation which goes towards the Air Ambulance.

Love Lamb Week

Designed to promote British and local famers during the peak season. By joining us, you are helping to support local farmers and butchers who we rely on to supply us. Support us to support them. We will be running seasonal specials created by our chefs alongside our full a’la carte menu.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Thanks to your generous donations and your love of cake, over the last few years we have raised over £2500 for MacMillan.
Come and join us for coffee and cake, all homemade by the staff. 100% of
proceeds from the cake sale to go to Macmillan who help provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support. Remember, every donation saves lives.


National Seafood Week

A national, annual campaign with the aim to get people eating more seafood, more often. What better way to try than coming and having one of the Chefs specials. All of our specials are created using the best sustainable fish from Sussex. Don’t like fish? We will be running the specials alongside our main menu. Throughout the week, we are also running table top games which can be played for a small donation which goes towards the RNLI.
